My name is Angela, I currently live in Southern California, USA. Photography has become something very special to me. Ever since I took photography class in my freshman year of high school. I started with an old school camera that uses film strips, and only could take pictures in black and white. I thought it was boring because I would wanted to see some color in pictures. But towards the end of the school year, I realized that black and white photography captures the mood and the atmosphere in a picture. I loved how the contrast turned out when I developed the pictures in the dark room. My addiction to photography started after I finished my freshman year. I didn't have a decent camera until finally on my birthday, I received my first DLSR camera; Nikon-d5100, it was the most awesomest gift I've ever gotten in years, I was extremely happy that I could finally take better pictures.

My favorite type of photography is night photography, because it's dark and eerie and I find them so interesting, it's something that us humans don't know what kind of activities are going on when the sun sets down. My favorite topic of night photography is the city, especially long exposure shots at night with cars driving on the road, and the buildings really give off the night life feeling to it. Besides night photography, I like HDR photography, landscape, sunsets & sunrises, and architecture photography as well, but I'm willing to try anything, from human portraits to macro shots of bugs, anything that captivates me.

I don't necessarily post my only best photos here. I know a lot of people on dA only show their best work. For me, I just post photos of what I think is okay or fantastic and compare them later to see how much I've improved, it's like a timeline for me.
